Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Karien Miranda and Ashlen Hart Lead Northgate to Victory

Northgate can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the North Paulding Wolfpack 2-1. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolfpack, too.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (62-60) Northgate actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-21, 18-16.

Leading Northgate to victory were Ashlen Hart and Karien Miranda. Hart had nine digs and six assists, while Miranda had seven digs. Those nine digs gave Hart a new career-high.
