Basketball Recap: Upsala Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Upsala won the last time they faced Royalton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Upsala Cardinals came out on top against the Royalton Royals by a score of 52-41. The 52-point effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jack Primus continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 14 points along with six assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Guthrie, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Upsala's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Royalton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upsala will venture away from home to square off against St. John's Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Royalton, they will head out to face off against Holdingford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Holdingford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Royalton likes a good challenge.
