Soccer Game Recap: Lyman vs. Powell

Lyman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 7-2 walloping at the hands of the Powell Panthers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Lyman was already down 5-1.

Eliza Clegg wasn't going to let Powell walk away unscathed as she scored both of Lyman's goals. With that big game she's now up to two goals this season.

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Powell, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyman will challenge Mountain View at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Powell, they are on the road again on Friday to play Green River at 3:00 p.m. Green River is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 6.2 goals per game this season.
