Basketball Game Preview: Selah Vikings vs. Prosser Mustangs

Selah is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Prosser is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Selah Vikings will host the Prosser Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Selah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Selah is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Othello 87-45 on Saturday. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Prosser hadn't done well against Toppenish recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Prosser simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Toppenish 78-47. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Wildcats are ranked 185th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Selah's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Prosser, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
