Football Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett lost against Ste. Genevieve back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians took a 29-15 bruising from the Dragons. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke Ferranto went supernova For Ste. Genevieve., rushing for 163 yards and two scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also throwing for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, Ferranto posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Kennett now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ste. Genevieve, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Kennett and Ste. Genevieve will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians will challenge rival Kelly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ste. Genevieve is set to square off against their familiar foe Potosi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
