Basketball Recap: Jackson Christian Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Jackson Christian lost against University School of Jackson back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jackson Christian Eagles took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University School of Jackson Bruins.

University School of Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mills Terry, who went 6 for 12 en route to 21 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Wallace Driver, who posted 12 points.

Jackson Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5. As for University School of Jackson, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Jackson Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-43 win against Fayette Academy on the 24th. As for University School of Jackson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-44 loss against Tipton-Rosemark Academy on the 24th.
