Football Game Preview: Springfield Millers vs. Eagle Point Eagles + How To Watch

The Springfield Millers will face off against the Eagle Point Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Springfield's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past South Eugene, posting a 35-0 victory. The Millers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Springfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Solo, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. Solo also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Millers are 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. Adam Hernandez was another key receiver, gaining 45 total yards and three touchdowns.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five game, Eagle Point brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They took their contest last Friday with ease, bagging a 42-6 win over South Eugene. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Eagle Point's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Springfield, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
