Basketball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. University Wildcats

Having just played yesterday, the Franklin Panthers will jump right back in to play the University Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Franklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Sylmar on Thursday as Franklin made off with an 84-63 victory. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly 21 points.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 67 points the game before, University was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They took a 45-29 bruising from Gardena. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Franklin took a serious blow against University when the teams last played back in November of 2014, falling 85-48. Can Franklin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
