Soccer Recap: Floyd County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Martinsville last Tuesday, Floyd County came back down to earth. The Buffaloes fell 2-0 to the Auburn Eagles on Friday.

Floyd County now has a losing record of 1-2-2. As for Auburn, they pushed their record up to 5-1-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Floyd County is taking a road trip to take on Patrick County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Auburn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern Montgomery will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Auburn surely won't give up without a fight.
