Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

If Fairfield was riding high fresh off their 45-17 takedown of Manchester last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fairfield Lions took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dawson-Bryant Hornets on Thursday.

Fairfield has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Dawson-Bryant, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dawson-Bryant, they will head out to challenge Belpre at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
