Soccer Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Marshall Owls, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Fulton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Marshall are ranked 37th).

Fulton now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Marshall, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fulton will take on Mexico at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshall, they will venture away from home to face off against Battle at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
