Stratton entered their tilt with Byers on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Stratton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Sophie Isenbart and Kinsleigh Brachtenbach, who picked up ten kills apiece. They were helped by Camory Wedel and Kaylynn Brandon, who contributed 12 assists each. Wedel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Stratton's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Byers, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Stratton will venture away from home to take on Eads at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Byers, they will square off against Holyoke at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
