Basketball Recap: Zion Harris Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Nash Central

A well-balanced attack led Rocky Mount over Nash Central in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. The Rocky Mount Gryphons enjoyed a cozy 66-50 win over the Nash Central Bulldogs. The Gryphons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocky Mount to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zion Harris, who went 6-for-15 en route to 17 points and eight assists. Those 17 points gave Harris a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelijah Evans, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points and seven boards.

Rocky Mount smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Rocky Mount's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Nash Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.
