Basketball Recap: Wilmot Takes a Loss

Wilmot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Elkhorn Elks, falling 56-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 56-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Wilmot's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Elkhorn, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Wilmot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-49 defeat against Beloit Memorial on the 13th. As for Elkhorn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-38 win against Waterford on the 13th.
