Basketball Game Preview: New Covenant Christian Flames vs. Covenant Christian Academy

New Covenant Christian has won five straight games at home, while Covenant Christian Academy has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The New Covenant Christian Flames just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome Covenant Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

New Covenant Christian will bounce into Friday's game after beating Christian School of York, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. New Covenant Christian came out on top against Christian School of York by a score of 29-19 on Thursday. The 29-point effort marked the Flames 's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Covenant Christian Academy beat Harrisburg Christian 51-39 on Tuesday.

Covenant Christian Academy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for New Covenant Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.

New Covenant Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Covenant Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 37-30.
