Softball Recap: Trimble County Comes Up Short

Trimble County was the 10-5 winner over Carroll County when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday.

Trimble County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Chilton, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Savannah Oldson was another, going 2-for-4 with one triple.

Trimble County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Carroll County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

While Trimble County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
