Baseball Recap: Twinsburg Tigers vs. North Royalton Bears
Twinsburg hadn't beaten North Royalton on the road since April 5, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Tigers blew past the Bears 11-4. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.
Nathan Kimmel looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Martwon Shannon was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Cox, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
