Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walled Lake Central). They came out on top against the Walled Lake Western Warriors by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

Katelynn Cole spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and six unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Izzy Rogers was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Cameron Zaid was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Walled Lake Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Walled Lake Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
