Basketball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Robinson was the 50-40 winner over Bloomingdale when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Robinson Knights took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bloomingdale Bulls on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 617th, while the Bulls are ranked 240th).

Despite the loss, Robinson still got an impressive performance from Jaden Behel, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 15 points. Zyon Floyd was another key player, going 6 for 12 en route to 13 points and six boards.

Robinson dropped their record down to 4-18 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Bloomingdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Robinson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-26 loss against Lennard on the 28th. Bloomingdale has also already played their next game, a 71-62 defeat against Sickles on the 28th.
