Football Recap: Carvers Bay Beats Georgetown for Their Fourth Straight Victory

While Carvers Bay didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Georgetown Bulldogs with a 27-21 victory on Friday. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win keeps Carvers Bay at an undefeated 4-0. As for Georgetown, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Carvers Bay will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hannah-Pamplico at 7:30 p.m. This will be the Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Georgetown, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on May River at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
