Baseball Recap: Bradford Falls to Brookville in First Game of Season

Bradford had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Brookville Raiders by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bradford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Whitmore, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Another was Aiden Willard, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Brookville pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Bradford will head out on the road to square off against Brockway at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookville, they will take on Punxsutawney at 4:30 p.m. on March 26th.
