Noxubee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 49-42 to the Aliceville Yellowjackets. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Aliceville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ronnesha Corder, who posted 16 points. Corder continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chrishayla Thomas, who scored 11 points.

Noxubee County's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Aliceville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Noxubee County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Enterprise at 1:41 p.m. As for Aliceville, they will welcome Isabella at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
