Softball Preview: West Scranton Invaders vs. Dunmore Bucks
The West Scranton Invaders are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against the Dunmore Bucks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
On Thursday, West Scranton didn't have quite enough to beat Crestwood and fell 4-3. The loss was the Invaders' first of the season.
Kaleiah Connor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
