Basketball Game Preview: Rangely Panthers vs. Vail Christian Saints

Rangely hasn't had much luck against Vail Christian recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Saints at 4:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Rangely lost to Little Snake River at home by a 52-37 margin. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 303rd in Colorado, while the Rattlers are ranked 34th in Wyoming).

Meanwhile, Vail Christian came tearing into Friday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Cowboys with points to spare, taking the game 71-53.

Rangely's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Vail Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
