New Albany's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the North Pontotoc Vikings with a sharp 65-45 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

New Albany had a senior duo take command as Kylan King went 10 for 17 on his way to 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals and Amari Hubbard almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. That's the most steals King has posted since back in November of 2024. Issac Gilbert was another key player, putting up eight points and 13 rebounds.

New Albany is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for North Pontotoc, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Albany will welcome South Pontotoc at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Albany is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.5 points per game this season. As for North Pontotoc, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ripley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
