With a playoff win on the line, Coastal Christian rose to the challenge on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Coastal Christian sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Coastal Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Coastal Christian will square off against Cape Fear Academy on Tuesday. Coastal Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Cape Fear Academy have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
