Santa Fe is 8-2 against Hampshire since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Santa Fe is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Santa Fe lost 15-5 to Zion Christian Academy on Friday.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Hampshire's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Moore County by a score of 8-7.

Dierks Brown put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Brown was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Kasen Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Therin Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Santa Fe's record now sits at 4-12. As for Hampshire, their record is now 12-5.
