Soccer Game Preview: Lindhurst vs. Rio Vista

The Lindhurst Blazers will face off against the Rio Vista Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lindhurst is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Lindhurst will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Thursday, then bounced right back against San Juan on Tuesday. Everything went Lindhurst's way against San Juan as Lindhurst made off with a 7-1 win. Israel Palacios was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Rio Vista came up short against Mesa Verde on Tuesday, falling 7-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Rams were already down 4-1.

Rio Vista now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lindhurst, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-2.
