Volleyball Recap: St. Andrew's Highlanders vs. Fort Worth Country Day Falcons        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Hockaday, St. Andrew was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They blew past the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Highlanders also won the last time the pair played  back in November of 2023.
 While St. Andrew's might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fort Worth Country Day scored at least 16 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15,  25-16.
 St. Andrew's was led to victory by  Lela Beard and  Savannah ("Savy") Cook.  Beard  had five  aces, while  ("Savy") Cook  had six  digs.
 St. Andrew's is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-17 record  this season. As for Fort Worth Country Day, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the  defeat, which was their 12th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's will square off against Brentwood Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Brentwood Christian will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something St. Andrew's surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Worth Country Day, they are on the road again  on Tuesday to play Greenhill at 6:00  p.m.
