Baseball Recap: Goshen Comes Up Short

Goshen suffered their biggest defeat since April 3rd on Wednesday. They came up short against the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pilgrims/Rockies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in April.

Goshen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jensen Meikle, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Plymouth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.
