Softball Recap: Haynesville Takes a Loss

Haynesville lost against Simsboro back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golden Tornado came up short against the Tigers, falling 17-7. The Golden Tornado have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brylee Foster was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Haynesville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Simsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Haynesville has already played their next matchup (against Mansfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Simsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-3 victory against Plain Dealing on the 11th.
