Volleyball Game Preview: Huntley Red Raiders vs. Timothy Christian Trojans

The Huntley Red Raiders will be taking part in a tournament against the Timothy Christian Trojans at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Huntley didn't have quite enough to beat Bartlett and fell 2-1. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Huntley sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 17-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Timothy Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Christ the King on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Timothy Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16.

Huntley's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Timothy Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.
