Softball Recap: Peebles Takes a Loss

Peebles's last matchup with North Adams could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Indians lost 9-2 to the Green Devils. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Kaelyn Musser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Peebles saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amryn Carroll, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Another was Kendall Myers, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Peebles' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for North Adams, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.
