Softball Game Preview: Havana Ducks vs. Liberty Eagles

The Havana Ducks will face off against the Liberty Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Havana comes in on six and Liberty on seven.

Havana is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia by a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Liberty sidestepped Delavan for a 4-3 victory.

Chandler John spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Liberty's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Riley Fessler, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Havana, their win bumped their record up to 22-3-1.
