Baseball Recap: Nazareth Takes a Loss

Nazareth fell victim to Bishop Loughlin and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Lions. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 26, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Nazareth's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bishop Loughlin, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Nazareth will welcome LaSalle Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Kingsmen surely won't give up without a fight. Bishop Loughlin has already played their next matchup (against Sacred Heart), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
