On Friday, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics got the win against Miller Grove by a conclusive 3-0.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Greenville HomeSchool Athletics was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mary Carter led the charge by getting eight digs and four aces. Carter is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Katie McGraw, who had 11 assists and seven digs.
They weren't the only good server: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive contests.
Lone Oak not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22nd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Winona.
Lone Oak's got stronger as the match went on, holding Winona to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-12.
Greenville HomeSchool Athletics better keep an eye on Lillie Hammond. She was instrumental in Lone Oak's win, getting 14 assists and three digs. Shaley Crawford also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.
Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' record now sits at 13-3. As for Lone Oak, their record is now 16-7.
