Goodpasture Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They blew past the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Goodpasture Christian pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Donelson Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Goodpasture Christian will take on Hendersonville in a tournament on Thursday.
