Basketball Game Preview: East Paulding Raiders vs. North Paulding Wolfpack

The East Paulding Raiders and the North Paulding Wolfpack will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, East Paulding came up short against Alexander and fell 58-48. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Cougars are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, North Paulding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 61-51 to Model.

East Paulding has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for North Paulding, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

East Paulding couldn't quite finish off North Paulding when the teams last played back in November and fell 63-60. Can East Paulding avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
