Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

If Lincoln was feeling good fresh off their 72-29 takedown of Comer last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lincoln Golden Bears took a 65-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Bluff Tigers on Tuesday. The Golden Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 45-40.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Cedar Bluff, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Lincoln will square off against Jacksonville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Jacksonville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season. Cedar Bluff has already played their next match (against Gaylesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
