After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bridge City, Vidor was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 39-32 win over the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears. The 39-point effort marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Vidor now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.
