The Whetstone Braves will take on the Centennial Stars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Whetstone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Whetstone came up short against Groveport-Madison on Saturday, falling 11-1. The matchup marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Whetstone saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayley Jones, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Jillian Nelson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Centennial came up short against Westerville South on Tuesday and fell 10-7.

Kaela Haycook made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Whetstone has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
