Baseball Recap: Mendon Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mendon can now relate to. They fell 5-1 to the Marcellus Wildcats on Saturday. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Mendon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Doehring, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Doehring's first of the season.

Mendon's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Marcellus, their victory bumped their record up to 20-7.

As of now, neither Mendon nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
