Recap: Teaneck Highwaymen vs. Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders
It was a good run, but the Teaneck Highwaymen unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 28-18 to Dwight Morrow.
Despite the loss, Teaneck still got an impressive performance from Adriel Perez, who rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Perez hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dwight Morrow to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arieyon Williams, who threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Damani Williams was another key contributor, rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Teaneck's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Dwight Morrow, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Teaneck will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against River Dell at 6:00 p.m. River Dell is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Dwight Morrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
