Basketball Recap: St. Edmund Takes a Loss

St. Edmund was the 58-28 winner over St. Joseph's - Plaucheville when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays fell just short of the St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles by a score of 43-40 on Friday. The Fighting Blue Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Edmund's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for St. Joseph's - Plaucheville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-17.

St. Edmund will head out on the road to face off against Hathaway at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Joseph's - Plaucheville, they will host Holy Savior Menard at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
