Football Game Preview: East Burke Cavaliers vs. Chase Trojans + How To Watch

The East Burke Cavaliers will head out on the road to square off against the Chase Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, East Burke came up short against R-S Central and fell 27-14.

Although East Burke took the loss, they still got scores from Jesiah Rees and RJ Williams.

Even if they lost, East Burke's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Daniel Cook, Aiden Pyatte, and Joseph Lee, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-7 loss at the hands of East Rutherford. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-0.

East Burke's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Chase, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

East Burke came up short against Chase in their previous meeting back in October of 2016, falling 20-16. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
