Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Longhorns vs. Palo Verde Panthers

The Legacy Longhorns will challenge the Palo Verde Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 12 games.

Last Wednesday, Legacy strolled past Shadow Ridge with points to spare, taking the game 76-59.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Palo Verde rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 75-63.

Legacy's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-5. As for Palo Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Legacy was able to grind out a solid victory over Palo Verde in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 69-58. Will Legacy repeat their success, or does Palo Verde have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
