Volleyball Recap: Fannin County Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Fannin County won the last time they faced West Hall and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rebels walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spartans.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fannin County was: they took both sets by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0.

Karis Hurd paced Fannin County's offense, picking up seven kills. Hurd got some help from Maggie Ledford and her 11 assists. Ledford was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Fannin County pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Hall, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coincidentally, Fannin County and West Hall will both be playing Banks County the next time they take the court. The Rebels will head out to face the Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
