Volleyball Game Preview: Diamond Ranch Panthers vs. Chaffey Tigers

The Diamond Ranch Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Chaffey Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Diamond Ranch comes in on five and Chaffey on four.

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond Ranch duked it out with Ontario on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jaguars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 21-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Chaffey made easy work of Chino on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chaffey took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-8.

Diamond Ranch pushed their record up to 11-11 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chaffey, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Everything went Diamond Ranch's way against Chaffey in their previous meeting back in March, as Diamond Ranch made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
