It was a good run, but Overland unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost to the Mullen Mustangs on the road by a 61-47 margin. If the Trailblazers were looking for revenge after losing 69-40 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mullen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keaton Arangua-Egbert led the charge by putting up 13 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. The dominant performance gave Arangua-Egbert a new career-high in rebounds. Cheyenne Huber was another key player, going 6 for 8 on her way to 14 points.

Overland's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Mullen, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

When Overland and Mullen next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Overland will take on Cherry Creek and their four-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Overland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.2 points per game this season. Similarly, Mullen will try to stop Arapahoe's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Overland is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
