Volleyball Recap: Palmer's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Coronado wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Palmer, they should've done a better job of containing Taytum Soppe-Cope. The Terrors walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars on Thursday with plenty of help from Soppe-Cope, who had 26 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 20-25, 25-16.

The victory made it two in a row for Palmer and bumps their season record up to 9-5. As for Coronado, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palmer is set to challenge their familiar foe Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coronado will square off against rival Mesa Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
